Continuing my interest in shape and colour this is an interpretation of the red, a rich, warm, strong colour. To highlight its quality it I have used a compatible colour and gilding.
It also includes my interest in mixed media: the pear is fibre and clay, painted in oil colour and the base is of wood painted in acrylic and gilding.
Signed/dated on the base.
