This has recently been exhibited at The Mall Galleries, London, for the Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition.
This small semi-abstract sculpture is inspired by the octopus which collects coconut shells to reside in occasionally. This little sculpture has turned out to have, possibly, a self-satisfied expression as it embraces it with ownership….”I’ve got it and it’s mine!”
it is made of fibre and clay, finished with metal and acrylic paint. Signed/dated on the base and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
